Too many Easter eggs

OOOPS, I meant to say eggnogs. Hey, have you ever over-indulged and then found yourself reaching for the Alka-Seltzer? Then you hit yourself on the side of the head regretting that you still have to prove to the world you are “THE ONE”.

Don’t beat yourself up.

It happens to all of us.

This time of year, when stress hits the hot button, just about everyone gets caught with their pants down as many of our worst behavior patterns slide swiftly to the surface.

Those of us known as Super Achievers are the ones who want to do it all, and do it all perfectly. If you are a Super Achiever (and you know who you are), give yourself a break this year and stop bragging about how many eggnogs you can down, stop shouting out about how you are the best gift giver on the planet, and for crying out loud, stop saying you can do it all and do it better than anyone else. Just listening to you is exhausting!

Maybe you are the Pleaser or Martyr, these are the folks who are over committed all year long, and yet when the holidays come they salivate getting ready to say “Yes, I’ll do it for you” and over commit beyond the possible.

This is the trap that leads to anything from a backache, headache, to heartache. You see when it is impossible to finish the task, everyone is mad at you and you grab onto another behavior pattern and become the ultimate victim of “them”.

Want to learn how to “Practice Safe Stress”? Want to stay in the “Safe Stress Zone”, that middle place between the Zombies who put the covers over their heads to moan and groan, and the Freakouts who yell and shout and just want to punch someone out?

Do it differently this holiday. Yes you can. it just takes some knowledge of how to transform behavior patterns for a smoother, more fun holiday season.

Register for our upcoming webinar on December 12th at 1pm EST at this link https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/3463438884520547328 to learn how to stay in the “Safe Stress Zone”.
